Dr. Jose Diaz will discuss teaching Freemasonry at OSU
Dr. Diaz’ presentation will focus on his experience teaching a popular freshman elective seminar on Freemasonry at The Ohio State University, which he has taught since the Winter Term of 2008. He is a Past Master of York Lodge No. 563. He is also the Associate Curator for Collections at The Ohio State University.The seminar class meets once a week and is taught in the Winter and the Spring Quarters and covers a topic a week for ten weeks. The topics vary from secret societies and conspiracies to Freemasonry in American popular culture.
Members and guests will gather for dinner at 6 pm on the 2nd floor of the Old Bag of Nail Pub, 4065 Main Street, Hilliard, Ohio. The Lodge will open at 7:30 pm in the Entered Apprentice degree.
